Do tax rates differ by province?

Can traffic police seize my bluebook?

Police can still issue tickets and collect fines — but they cannot take your originals.

What happens after 5+ years of non-renewal?

What is QR code digital bluebook?

क्यूआर कोड डिजिटल ब्लुबुक के हो?

Bagmati Province has introduced a QR code-based digital bluebook. A sticker with QR code is affixed to the windscreen — traffic police can scan it to verify tax and renewal status instantly. It reduces the need to carry the physical bluebook at all times. You can get it when renewing at Bagmati TMO. However, physical bluebook is still needed for ownership transfer, loans, and formal TMO transactions.
